Have you ever wondered what the word harbinger in our name means? Like a flashlight, Harbinger Student Media is here to shine some light for you. Harbinger is defined as a person or thing that announces or signals the approach of things to come. The use of harbinger as a verb is described as foreshadowing an event.

We experience examples of a harbinger in our everyday lives. A robin’s song is a precursor that spring is near. A lighthouse is used as a harbinger to warn ships of the shoreline ahead. Currently, the leaves are changing colors, and soon they will fall to the ground, reminding us to prepare for the cold of winter.

Harbinger Student Media acts as a harbinger to the ICC community. HSM keeps our community informed and prepared for anything happening among our students, staff, and faculty; the community as a whole.

Of course, HSM also highlights recent events in case you missed an exciting happening on campus. HSM keeps you updated on ongoing community affairs, so you never miss a curve in the winding road to success.
