October 2023 ICC Campus Police Report

The October 2023 Campus Police Report has been released. It included one arrest and three citations.

– October 4: A student resident reported unknown people knocking on her door and an egg thrown outside her apartment at Housing.  

– October 4: Officers responded to a call of an intoxicated person at the CougarPlex ball diamonds. Officers took custody of the individual who was under 21, issued them a citation, and turned them over to a parent.  

– October 9: Officers assisted a local agency while they made contact on campus with an individual and issued them a Notice to Appear in Court for Retail Theft from a local business.  

– October 12: Officers made contact with an individual after a report of potentially stolen AirPods. The air pods were given back to the owner and the individual said they picked them up as a found item to return.  

*If you find lost items on campus, drop them off in Campus Police room 105A, or call/use your  Rave Guardian app to text Dispatch and request an officer pick them up.  

– October 16: Officers responded to Housing for a sighting of a banned individual. The individual was not found, but residents were warned.  

*If you are a resident, you are responsible for any persons in your apartment. If they are a  banned person, you will face removal from Housing.  

– October 18: An individual reported his vehicle being moved in the parking lot multiple times over several months. A subject was identified and issued a citation for disorderly conduct.  

– October 22: Officers responded to a call of an unknown person knocking on a door at Housing in the middle of the night. The individual was located later on campus intoxicated and was transported to the hospital. 

– October 25: An individual reported their car paint being damaged by an unknown person with a key or sharp object in a parking lot on the EP Campus.  

Safety Tip: 

Parking lots, roadways, and crosswalks are busy on campus; take the time to slow down, be respectful, and be aware of other drivers and pedestrians on campus at all times.
