Karate at ICC

Karate with Professor Chianakas takes place at the Peoria Campus in Arbor building, room #112 on Wednesdays at 3:30pm. This program originally started in 2013-’14 college semesters at the East Peoria campus.
Beginning this year, Karate has been moved to the Peoria campus. I participated to see what it was all about and learned a lot about self defense using Okinawan Karate. Not only does this provide a great workout after a long day of college classes, it is a great way to learn a discipline that can be applied in everyday life to help keep in focus. This program is free to all ICC students who wish to participate in a friendly team environment.
