When you make the decision to transfer from ICC, you open yourself up to hundreds of state institutions looking for prospective undergraduate students like yourself.

Keep in mind that every school may have different requirements for enrollment, especially for transfer students who may be expected to include high school records (depending on how recent their enrollment in a post-secondary school.)

In addition to transfer requirements, students should be mindful of important factors such as programs of study, location, financial aid, and quality of facilities. What degrees do they offer relative to my desired field? Is this a research institution? Are the professors experienced in the field or working professionals? Outlook post-graduation? How will you pay for public vs. private institutions? What are my application deadlines?

Schedule counseling appointments with your department advisors and Student Accounting to learn more about the transfer process. And remember, the sooner the better.
