National Coffee Day: Students Enjoy Coffee at Campus Starbucks

There’s no better way to start your day than to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and get that boost you need to make it through the day. Fortunately for us at ICC, a Starbucks is located on campus on the third floor of the Technology Center to satisfy your caffeine cravings.
Students in the Coffee Lounge relaxed with their drinks on Wednesday, September 29, as they unknowingly celebrated National Coffee Day. Starbucks employee, Katie Higgins, says it’s the “best day ever,” with the most popular drinks being hot or iced chai and hot mocha lattes. “You should come to get coffee,” Katie expressed.
Students Tobias and Alice Michlik love their coffee. Alice says it’s their “morning routine” to get coffee at the campus Starbucks.
“I get tea at night and coffee in the morning,” she said. Numerous students say they get coffee daily before or after their classes.
Sidney Contoni worked on homework while drinking her coffee. “I love it. It’s really helpful and a great thing we have here at ICC,” she said.
You can relax and enjoy hot or iced coffee, espresso, frappuccino, hot chocolate, and specialty drinks, including Starbucks Refreshers. Starbucks is open Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
