Keeping the Spirit Alive Away from Campus

By Andrew Greenway, May 1st, 2020

Since our coverage of COVID-19 in February (then known as the novel coronavirus) the once distant health emergency has become an everpresent facet of American life.

In mid-March, Illinois Central College extended its Spring Break to the end of the month. The college resumed its regular academic activity in April through online course alternatives, in observation of social distancing practices.

While the political and social responses to the pandemic continue to develop, Alyssa Mueller has been exercising her freedom of speech in hopes of keeping her fellow students up to date, even from home. Please support Harbinger Student Media and our staff as we continue to work together from afar.

Even though COVID-19 has separated many of us physically, we continue to stand together by being apart.

For the latest Harbinger Weeklies, check out the video below or visit our Videos for more of our resilient host’s work. And check in with us weekly for more content as our staff adjusts to these historic circumstances.
