ICC’s Home for Accurate and Prompt News Updates

Harbinger Student Media (HSM), Illinois Central College’s (ICC) student-led news organization, is gearing up for another season of providing students, faculty, and staff with accurate and prompt news updates about the ICC community. The staff at HSM will kick off the semester’s content with the production of episode one in their fourth season of the award-winning podcast Self-Care Tips&Tools, which is set to be released Wednesday, January 26, 2023.
In addition to continuing this podcast and their usual news coverage, HSM staff members have plans for various social media platforms, offering several opportunities for viewers and followers to interact with staff members and even win prizes. These new techniques will allow viewers to truly connect with peers on campus and stay up-to-date on events and hot topics around ICC. To take advantage of these opportunities, follow HSM on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
HSM will also provide updates on events occurring within the ICC community and surrounding areas relating to or impacting ICC students, faculty and staff. These topics include fine arts, organization events, changes in local laws, ICC rules and regulations, monthly campus police reports, interviews with people of high interest and more. The information mentioned above can be accessed through the HSM website, ICCharbinger.com, and the previously listed social media outlets.
