ICC students learn about opportunities on campus

Twenty organizations gathered this week outside of the ICC East Peoria campus to promote their respective groups at the annual Student Activities Fair.

The student fair presenters drew attention with their displays, raffles, and candy this Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students walking by were beckoned to join the fair’s fun as they traveled from the parking lot to classes, enticed by prizes and clubs.

The prizes were won through a scavenger hunt. This was done by visiting each of the organizations and getting a signature from them all. The groups from today included: CAB, TRiO, the fashion club, the College Democrats, PAC, athletics, Black Legacy, Future Business Leaders of America, CRU, Counseling, SAFE, SGA, Career Services, Campus Housing, Creative Writing Club, the library group, Academic Support, Phi Theta Kappa, and ROTARACT.
