ICC Police Department Monthly Report – December 2022-January 2023

December 2: A theft was attempted of construction equipment

December 4: A driver and occupant were stopped and warned about traveling in the trunk of a
vehicle

December 5: An individual was issued a ticket for handicap parking ($350 fine) and the handicap
placard shown was confiscated as it was issued to a family member not present in the vehicle

December 8: Individuals were warned about littering at Campus Housing. Housing required
community service to be done.

December 13: Individual was stopped and warned about reckless driving in the parking lots

December 20: Individual was issued an RVN (ticket) for possession of prescription drugs (not
prescribed to them)

January 10: Individual was removed and banned from campus after activating a fire extinguisher
in a bathroom

January 20: Residents were evacuated from a campus housing building in the early morning
hours. Fire Department responded and faulty sensors were found to be the cause.

January 29: Individual was taken to the hospital with minimal injuries after a roll-over crash off
of College Dr.

January 30: A resident at housing reported items stolen from a room. Investigation is ongoing.
