ICC Men’s Basketball Snap Two Game Skid

The Cougars won an electric game that ended in overtime. The Cougars beat Danville Area Community College by a score of 88-84. That win breaks the Cougars two game losing streak.

The Cougars went into the half down 40-33. The Cougars powered back and they capped off their comeback with four straight threes from Zach Lewkowski. The Cougars had six players finish with ten or more points, led by DJ Davis with 15.

Overall, the game was high paced and energetic. “We seem to get excited when we have some success,” ICC head coach Tony Wysinger responded. That success comes from multiple areas of the Cougars.

The Cougars had 38 points from their bench. The Cougars also led multiple team categories including rebounds, assists, and field goal percentage.

The Cougars next game is on Wednesday the 19th against Parkland College at 7 pm at the CougarPlex. ICC then travels to Springfield over the weekend to play Lincoln Land Community College on Saturday the 22nd.
