According to NPR, college and university fall enrollment in the U.S. is set to drop about 500,000 undergraduates.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused the steep decline of enrolling students.

ICC is no stranger to this issue either. The college has suffered from a shocking drop in students this fall semester.

Enrollment has steadily decreased since 2017; however, the 2020 lockdown resulted in a drop of over a thousand students, or nearly 15%, this fall semester.

What is to happen at ICC knowing this information?

An interview with ICC’s president, Dr. Sheila Quirk-Bailey, is scheduled this week to ask her some pressing questions about this enrollment dilemma.

Stay tuned for the article and video of this interview. Check them both out on the Harbinger Student Media news page and on the vodcast page.
