A Week Of Defense And Fishing

The Men’s Basketball team won against John Wood at home 73-66. It was a great victory, with a massive defensive effort to fend off the trailblazers to maintain the lead. This effort brings their overall record to 10-16 on the year after this Sophomore Day game. They play the Danville Area Jaguars this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in Danville, Illinois. Good luck, Cougars!

In fishing news, the Bass Fishing team traveled to Tennessee to compete in their first tournament of the year. Though the fish weren’t quite biting like they wanted them to, they look forward to traveling all around, catching lots of fish, and placing high in tournaments.
