Campus Safety Report: Feb. 10, 2014

4:43 p.m. Dec. 2 —  An employee at East campus reported the theft of cash from an unlocked office desk.  The cash was not recovered.

8:05 p.m. Dec. 5 — A fire alarm was activated at East campus.  ICC officers an East Peoria Fire checked and found it to be a false alarm.

8:10 p.m. Dec. 9 — A student reported the theft of an unattended cell phone at the CougarPlex.  The phone was not recovered.

5:42 p.m. Dec. 14 — ICC officers discovered the mechanical arm on the WoodView Commons gate house had been damaged.  The arm was replaced.

11:55 p.m. Dec. 15 — The owner of a vehicle parked at WoodView Commons reported a wheel and tire had been removed and stolen.  The wheel and tire were not recovered.

12:19 p.m. Dec. 19 — Computer accessory equipment was reported stolen from a classroom at North campus. The equipment was not recovered.

5:20 a.m. Jan. 11 — A fire alarm was reported by a rooftop sensor at East campus.  The area was checked and it was found to be a false alarm.

9:12 p.m. Jan. 12 — Two unknown suspects forced their way into an apartment at WoodView Commons and assaulted two tenants inside.  The suspects then fled the scene.  The victims suffered minor injuries.

10:56 p.m. Jan. 12 — A subject at WoodView Commons was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and transported to Tazewell Count Jail.

8:20 p.m. Jan. 15 — A college vehicle struck a parked vehicle in a parking lot.  The parked vehicle sustained damage to one of the side view mirrors.

7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 — An unknown suspect broke into an apartment at WoodView Commons.  The only item known to be stolen was an IPod.

11:00 a.m. Jan. 30 — A student who was removed from a program at North campus became disruptive and profane.  The subject was removed from campus and barred from returning.

 

Campus Safety Tip: Lost & Found

Stop by or call the Lost & Found periodically to check for your lost property.  Sometimes it takes a while for items to be sent in from other areas.  Lost & Found is located in the Campus Police Department office in Room 103 (one floor below the cafeteria) or you can call 694-5111 anytime.
