Campus Police Report November 2014

3:15 p.m. November 4 — ICC police responded to a call of an odor of marijuana emanating from a WoodView Commons apartment. Drug paraphernalia was later recovered from the apartment. The incident was referred to WoodView management for eviction proceedings.

10:49 p.m. November 4 — Damage to an apartment door at WoodView Commons was reported to ICC Police. The door had been kicked, causing damage to the door trim. The person responsible was issued an ICC Regulation Violation Notice (ticket) for Damage to Property and the case was referred to WoodView management for civil action.

9:54 a.m. November 5 — An ICC work vehicle backing up on College Drive at the East Peoria Campus struck a light pole, causing it to fall to the ground. The vehicle did not have significant damage.

11:36 a.m. November 5 — ICC Police documented previous damage to the fire alarm system at the Pekin campus. A lightning strike had caused the damage, which has since been repaired.

1:00 p.m. November 10 — The owner of a truck parked in Lot E of the East Peoria Campus reported damage to the vehicle. A dent was found on the passenger side door. ICC officers located another vehicle that had been in the area at about the same time. The case was solved.

7:47 a.m. November 13 — A vehicle backed into a parked car in the parking lot near the CougarPlex. The striking vehicle left the scene. An ICC police investigator found that the incident was captured on video. The driver was located and issued an ICC Regulation Violation Notice (ticket) for Damage to Property.

1:00 p.n. November 14 — An ICC police officer discovered a wooden post holding the stop sign at College Drive and Lakeside Drive on the East Peoria Campus had been snapped off. The post was replaced. It is unknown how the damage occurred.

1:55 p.m. November 18 — A burglary to an apartment was reported at WoodView Commons. Clothing, electronics and various other items were reported stolen.

9:25 a.m. November 20 — A person at North Campus had a medical seizure and was aided by ICC officers. Paramedics were called and the subject was transported to a local hospital.
