The play itself is centered around the characters Marnie, played by Hannah Gidcumb; Linda, played by Gillian Strachan; Melissa, played by Hannah Bruce; Bob, played by Alek President; Eddie, played by Nathan Apodaca; and Frank, played by Frank Drew.
“The Drunken City” begins by telling a story of three brides-to-be and their past visit to the city. They vow to never go back, but fast forward a few weeks and they have returned for a bachelorette party with one less ring on their fingers.
Somehow they end up visiting the city again for Marnie’s bachelorette party. There they meet Eddie and Frank, who have coincidentally just come out for a good time as well. But the night begins to go awry when the bride-to-be, Marnie, and Frank share a kiss on the streets of the city. This leads to a night of mishap and broken friendships as Marnie begins to go down a path that no one wants her to be on. Will her friends be able to save the day or will her marriage end before it begins
Memorable characters from the show included Melissa, played by Hannah Bruce, and Bob, played by Alek President.
The show was strategically put together and all of the technical elements came together to create an enjoyable show.
