Student Life Offers Hispanic Heritage Month Event

Illinois Central College has created an event for tomorrow celebrating Hispanic students and culture.

Cafe Con Leche is Sept. 23 from noon – 2 p.m. at the ICC East Peoria Campus.

“We’re going to give Mexican sweetbread, hot chocolate, coffee, and there’s going to be good music all in Spanish,” said Jimena of ICC Student Life.

“We have a lot of Hispanic population here in ICC. So, hopefully everyone comes, and its going to be super chill and mellow. You can drop by, grab your bread and go head to class. It’s going to be awesome,” Jimena continued.
