Tuesday, February 4
- Illinois State University Transfer Center Table Visit – This will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Career Center, East Peoria campus. ISU will have representatives there to answer any questions students may have about transferring there.
- University of Illinois Springfield Transfer Center Table Visit – This will occur from 9:30 a.m. to noon, in the Atrium outside the East Peoria bookstore. University of Illinois will have representatives there to answer any questions students may have about transferring there.
- D&D Weekly Club Meetings – This will occur from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in Room 233B in the Academic Building, East Peoria campus. Plan epic adventures and play D&D with fellow students.
- One Book, One College Presentation on Comics, Graphic Novels, and Us: Finding Identity Through Superheroes – This will occur from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., in Room 212C in the Academic Building, East Peoria campus. A panel of ICC faculty and staff will talk about the usage of comics in Eric Gansworth’s book, “Apple: Skin to the Core.”
- Math Mindset Makeover – This will occur from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the East Peoria campus library. This workshop will help students explore their anxiety with math and rebuild their confidence.
- General Studies Visit Day – This will occur from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the East Peoria campus library. Interested visitors may see what life is like as an ICC student by exploring the programs offered by ICC, touring the campus, and checking out the resources available to students.
- Hip Hop and R&B Karaoke Night – This will occur from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Campus Housing Clubhouse, East Peoria campus. Snacks and drinks will be provided, as students perform their favorite songs.
Wednesday, February 5
- Relax in the Stacks – This will occur from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., in the Student Center, Peoria campus. Students will be able to enjoy snacks and therapy dogs to help relieve stress.
- Red Cross Blood Drive – This will occur from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Room 203 in the AIT Building, East Peoria campus. Students can donate blood to the Red Cross and help save lives.
Thursday, February 6
- Red Cross Blood Drive – This will occur from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Dining Hall in the Academic Building, East Peoria campus. Students can donate blood to the Red Cross and help save lives.
- Free Yoga Sessions – This will occur from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the East Peoria campus library. Students can participate in a free yoga session to relieve stress and tension.
- LGBTQ+ Talkspace – This will occur from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the East Peoria library. A time and space for LGBTQ+ students to receive peer-led support and share experiences.
- Guest Artist Series: Shaun Johnson & The Big Band Experience – This will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., in the Performing Arts Center, East Peoria campus. Emmy-winning vocalist Shaun Johnson and his band will be performing. Anyone can purchase tickets in the Performing Arts Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or order them online at icc.edu/arts. Tickets for students are discounted to $15, while regular tickets are $35-45, depending on seat selection.
Friday, February 7
- Early College Visit Day – This will occur from 9 a.m. to noon, in the East Peoria campus library. Interested visitors may see what life is like as an ICC student by exploring the programs offered by ICC, touring the campus, and checking out the resources available to students.
- Fashion Club Meeting – This will occur from noon to 2 p.m., in Room 131C in the Academic Building, East Peoria campus. Students can interact with fellow fashion enthusiasts and participate in ICC’s fashion show at the end of this semester.
