Lady Sports Update

Last weekend, our Lady Cougars’ softball season kicked off in Alabama. They returned home with two wins and three losses. A fantastic initial effort gave the Lady Cougars a big 13-1 win against Coastal Alabama East. Their other win came against Central Alabama, with the final score being 8-2. This Saturday, the Lady Cougars look to shake off the losses and come back strong against Saint Ambrose in Davenport, Iowa.

In basketball news, the Lady Cougars brought home victory against the Parkland Cobras with a final score of 58-56. This triumph brings their golden winning streak to three in a row and their overall record to 19-9. In a fun statistic, the Lady Cougars sit at number one for home attendance in Division II Women’s Basketball. The Lady Cougars will play Lewis & Clark on Wednesday. Good luck, Ladies!
