ICC Police Department Monthly Report – February 2022

• February 9, 2022: An individual reported the theft of catalytic converters from several vehicles parked on the East Peoria Campus, taken during an unknown time frame in the past six months

• February 14, 2022: A request for a wellness check of an individual at Campus Housing resulted in one person banned from the property

• February 15, 2022: An individual on the East Peoria Campus was given a warning about prohibited use of a skateboard on campus grounds

• February 15, 2022: Officers stood by while Campus Housing banned two non-residents from the property for visitor violations

• February 15, 2022: An individual was issued a regulation violation notice (fine) for threatening another individual at Campus Housing. Ultimately the individual was evicted and banned from the property. 

• February 15, 2022: An individual was banned from Campus Housing property for visitor violations

• February 25, 2022: Officers at the East Peoria Campus assisted another law enforcement agency in detaining an individual after he caused a disturbance at a nearby location

Campus Safety Tip:

Theft of catalytic converters from the underside of vehicles is currently a common crime and can be done by some offenders in just a few minutes. Be on the lookout for suspicious individuals around vehicles, and call law enforcement immediately with any information.
