Campus Safety Report: Oct. 21
1:46 a.m. Sept. 27 — Officers responded to a loud noise complaint from an apartment at WoodView Commons. The problem was resolved.
2:43 p.m. Sept. 27 — Officers responded to a medical emergency call at North Campus. One subject was transported by paramedics to a local hospital.
3:05 p.m. Sept. 27 — An officer stopped to assist a motorist with car trouble. A check showed that the driver had an active arrest warrant on file for Retail Theft. The driver was arrested and sent to county jail. The broken down vehicle was towed.
12:16 p.m. Oct. 1 — The owner of a vehicle parked at the East Peoria Campus found damage to the right side view mirror. It is unknown how the damage occurred.
12:22 p.m. Oct. 1 — A cell phone left unattended at the East Peoria Campus was stolen and has not been recovered.
12:39 p.m. Oct. 2 — Graffiti was discovered in a public restroom on the East Peoria Campus. The graffiti was removed.
8:15 p.m. Oct. 3 — A set of car keys were stolen from an unattended purse at North Campus. The victim’s car was also taken from the parking lot. The vehicle was later recovered and returned to the owner.
10:10 p.m. Oct. 3 — Officers responded to a call of a fight between two subjects at WoodView Commons. They located one of the involved parties who stated it was just an argument, not a fight. The other person, a non-resident, had left the scene.
11:02 a.m. Oct. 4 — An unattended purse was stolen on the East Peoria Campus. It was not recovered.
8:58 a.m. Oct. 7 — A theft of cash from an unlocked desk drawer was reported on the East Peoria Campus.
9:30 p.m. Oct. 9 — Two vehicles parked in the lot at WoodView Commons were found to have minor damage. It is unknown who caused the damage.
10:47 a.m. Oct. 14 — A verbal altercation was reported at North Campus. Officers responded and successfully mediated the problem.

Protect your stuff!!! Don’t leave your valuables unattended or they could be stolen (see the incidents listed above). Remember, THIEVES GO TO COLLEGE TOO!!!
