Campus Safety Report: Mar. 3, 2014
- 8:35 p.m. Feb. 3 — A student reported the theft of an unattended wallet at the CougarPlex. The wallet was not recovered.
- 9:13 a.m. Feb. 12 — A theft of college computer equipment was reported at the North Campus. The equipment has not been recovered.
- 8:25 p.m. Feb. 12 — A spent shell casing was found lying on the trunk lid of a student’s car on the East Peoria Campus. It is unknown who placed it there. There was damage to the vehicle.
- 10:15 a.m. Feb. 13 — A physical altercation between two students was reported at the East Peoria Campus. The incident was referred to the State’s Attorney for prosecution and to the dean for follow up.
- 6:08 p.m. Feb. 13 — ICC officers at the North Campus mediated a dispute between two individuals over improper parking.
- 5:47 a.m. Feb. 14 — ICC officers responded to WoodView Commons on a call of a person having difficulty breathing. The patient was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
- 7:06 p.m. Feb. 19 — Damage to the roof of a college vehicle (truck) was reported by an employee on the East Peoria Campus.
- 9:32 a.m. Feb. 20 — A college laptop was reported missing from a room at the North Campus.
- 8:34 p.m. Feb. 20 — Damage was reported to an inner door and doorframe at a WoodView Commons apartment. The tenant had left the front door unlocked upon leaving.
- 3:55 a.m. Feb. 21 — A rooftop fire alarm was reported at the East Peoria Campus. East Peoria Fire Department responded. It appeared to be a false alarm.
- 8:57 a.m. Feb. 21 — A fire alarm was reported at the Arbor Hall south wing on the North Campus. The area was cleared and checked. The cause of the alarm appeared to be dust from construction at the building.
Campus Safety Tip:
- Stop by or call the Lost & Found periodically to check for your lost property. Sometimes it takes a while for items to be sent in from other areas. Lost & Found is located in the Campus Police Department office in Room 103 (one floor below the cafeteria) or call 694-5111 anytime.
