Activities Fair is now scheduled for this Thursday

The Activities Fair at ICC has been moved to this Thursday and will last from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  This will take place in the East Peoria courtyard to combine with the Back-to-School Bash.

The Activities Fair will include tables from various clubs and organizations. Tables confirmed to be there are from the library, the D&D Club, the Pre-Health Club, the SAFE Club, Phi Theta Kappa, the Fashion Club, the ICC Art Club, and the Horticulture Club.

According to Student Life, the Activities Fair was moved to give students a chance to see and join the various clubs and organizations. Student Life hopes that moving the Activities Fair to an earlier date will allow the different clubs and organizations to ride on the momentum of the beginning of the semester.

Students should expect tables with representatives from clubs and organizations, ready to answer questions, promote interest, and give out information. Matt Jones, the head of Student Life, told the Harbinger that “We’re hoping the Activities Fair will help spark connections with clubs, and spark connections with other people. We’re hoping it’s going to be a fun day.”
