Campus Safety Report: Sept. 30

12:45 p.m. Sept. 5 — A laptop and a calculator were stolen from an unlocked locker at the CougarPlex.

2:15 p.m. Sept. 5 — A musical instrument was stolen from an unsecured vehicle in the parking lot of East campus.

3:44 p.m. Sept. 8 — A residential burglary was reported at WoodView Commons. Cash and credit cards were stolen from an apartment.

8:37 a.m. Sept. 10 — Officers were dispatched to an apartment at WoodView Commons on a medical emergency call. One
subject was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for observation.

6:28 p.m. Sept. 14 — Officers discovered a brush fire in the woods behind WoodView Commons. East Peoria Fire Department responded and the fire was extinguished.

10:26 a.m. Sept. 16 — A gym bag containing clothes and shoes was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck parked on East Peoria Campus.

9:24 p.m. Sept. 18 — A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at East Peoria Campus.

1:15 a.m. Sept. 19 — Officers observed a group of subjects on the property of East Peoria Campus in the middle of the night. Two juveniles were charged with curfew violation and a runaway was taken into custody.

12:11 p.m. Sept. 20 — A pair of sunglasses was stolen from the unsecured saddlebag of a motorcycle parked at East Peoria Campus.

2:45 p.m. Sept. 23 — Officers were dispatched to
a medical emergency call on East Peoria Campus. One subject was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for observation.

Campus Safety Tip:

Protect your stuff!!! Don’t leave your valuables unattended or they could be stolen (see the incidents listed above). Remember, THIEVES GO TO COLLEGE TOO!!!
