Campus Safety Report: Dec. 9

8:00 a.m. Nov. 2 — ICC Officers responded to a call of a deer that had broken out a classroom window and entered the main building at the East Peoria Campus. The deer caused damage to the classroom before exiting through the broken window. The deer later broke out a cafeteria window and entered the building again before exiting and leaving campus.

8:00 a.m. Nov. 2 — An employee driving a college vehicle backed into a post in a parking lot causing damage to the door and fender of the vehicle.

2:04 p.m. Nov. 4 — A student reported harassment by another student via social media. The matter was referred for follow up.

9:00 p.m. Nov. 5 — A subject reported the theft of a purse from a vehicle parked at the East Peoria Campus. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle.

1:18 a.m. Nov. 8 — ICC Officers responded to a fight call at WoodView Commons. One subject was charged with Criminal Damage to Property and transported to County Jail.

10:27 a.m. Nov. 8 — A student reported the theft of an unattended cell phone at the East Peoria Campus. The phone was not recovered.

10:02 p.m. Nov. 9 — ICC Officers observed a subject in possession of an alcoholic beverage in a public place at WoodView Commons. The matter was referred to the WoodView management.

3:48 p.m. Nov. 11 — ICC Officers responded to WoodView Commons to check on the welfare of a subject at the request of a family member. The subject was okay.

6:53 p.m. Nov.13 — Minor damage to the hood of a college vehicle was discovered. It is unknown how the damage occurred.

1:27 p.m. Nov. 14 — A student reported the theft of an unattended cell phone at the East Peoria Campus. The phone was not recovered.

6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 — Damage to an East Peoria Campus wall map was reported. It is unknown how the damage occurred.

8:00 p.m. Nov. 21 — ICC Officers responded to WoodView Commons on a call of a dispute. The situation was mediated by the officers and referred to WoodView management.

1:30 p.m. Nov. 25 — A theft of documents from a locker at the East Peoria Campus was reported. There were no signs of forced entry to the locker.

Campus Safety Tip:

We are all taught to call 9-1-1 in an emergency. While on campus you are encouraged to call 5-1-1-1 from any campus phone or 694-5111 from a cell phone.
