The Harbinger got an up-close look at the flooding of the Peoria RiverFront. To help prevent the water from pouring into parking lots and area businesses, a temporary flood wall is being constructed.  According to the Peoria River Front’s website, during this time businesses remain open and weekend activities will continue as scheduled. Due to the flooding, a few alterations are also being made for the Fourth of July fireworks display, Red, White, and Boom.
